Together with an incredible planning team, every part of the experience was thoughtfully shaped around the feeling of the French Riviera. The day before the elopement, we spent time walking through Menton, exploring quiet corners of the city, discovering the most beautiful light, and building a timeline that allowed the whole day to unfold naturally and slowly.
And somehow, everything came together perfectly.
Menton itself felt almost unreal at times. Nestled between the sea and the mountains on the French Riviera, the town carries such a soft and romantic energy. Warm pastel buildings, winding streets through the old town, tiny cafés hidden between colorful facades, lemon trees, ocean views, and that unmistakable Mediterranean light that makes everything feel cinematic without even trying.
There is something incredibly charming about Menton. Elegant and vibrant at the same time, yet still intimate and peaceful compared to other Riviera destinations. Every corner feels full of character, warmth, and quiet beauty. The entire day reflected that same atmosphere. No rushing, no pressure, no distractions. Just two people fully present with each other while the city slowly moved around them.
What I loved most about this experience was how personal everything felt. Elopements have this beautiful way of slowing time down. There is space to breathe, to feel every emotion fully, and to create memories that feel honest and deeply connected to the place itself.
